Fresh squeaky cheese curds for making poutine. (Frozen available for 20% less!!!) and picked up some creton as well. A welcome taste of home.

Loved the poutine! The best in town so far. I grew up in Quebec and I was missing the real cheese until I finally found it! If you are a big fan of cheese, I suggest you order extra cheese in your poutine. Plus this time we tried their outstanding fried chicken ❤️it was very crispy and we dipped it in siracha with ketchup, yum yum! Like usual, the lady cashier was also friendly and her serving was very good. Thank you so much!

Wonderful little shop with tasty fresh products. Once u have some once you'll be hooked and want more. We found the cheese the first time at the market, great extra location.

Great location and great cheese, the cheese curds are great and the beer cheese is fantastic and a must have for entertaining. If you are in the area you should stop in and try some.

Very clean and friendly

The only place I've found west of Ontario that serves curd cheese and "tortillon" just like out east. When warm the cheese gets chewy and squeak. It won't go stringy like mozzarella or cheddar. Try it...yummy!

Best Cheese Curds I have had since I was in Eastern Ontario. Apparently they are now making the Curds fresh daily. The price is very reasonable. I recently tried smoke beer cheese, or what can only be described as cheese strings for adults, next family dinner I am putting this out with the rest of the appetizers. Why buy cheese from the grocery store? I am going back for sure.

Whenever I'm anywhere remotely close to the area I always stop in for beer cheese and fresh cheese curds. Since I've moved to Edmonton I haven't found another place that serves cheese curds fresh and squeaky. It's a nice treat and the staff is always friendly! :)

The poutine is very good and can have no meat too so it is halal

I don’t want to give too low or high of a rating here but hear me out...Something has changed with the cheese curd recipe over the last year or so. I loved the cheese curds here. Would go out of my way to just head here for a bag. The last 3 bags have tasted quite a bit different. At first I thought it was a not a great batch kind of day. Happened again. I hadn’t purchased for awhile after that until today. Stopped in since I was in the area. Again they taste weird!! I don’t know how to describe it other than they seem to be more tart and a lot less salty. The curds in the bag today were also Super soft and didn’t have the very audible squeak they had in the passed. Last thing, the bags also seem to have more and more of the whitish clear liquid in them. Anyway, this place does have lots of yummy cheeses to try (smoked beer cheese delicious) but truth be told, I don’t like how the cheese curds have changed.

This is a combo review for attached restaurant and store. Big selection of poutine toppings, veggie to meat. The cheese curds were amazing but the fries and gravy left me wanting more. The store has good selection of smoked cheeses, curds, Gouda ect and it is tasty!

Amazing curd cheese 10/10 reminds me of when i lived in Montreal 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND U BUY ALL THE CHEESE AND POUTINE 😂

Fresh Curd ,Friendly Staff, and a Terrific Owner. Make sure you try all the varieties of curd . The B-B-Q that is made 'only' on Friday is my favorite. They also do some block cheeses too. Great selection. Home of the Famous Beer Cheese. So named for its salty flavour. They also carry a few dessert tarts too. Parking right in front which is a bonus on 82 ave. This is also the old type of curd that you would remember as squeaky cheese! As good as any bought in Ontario or Quebec. A must visit for everyone!

My go-to place for cheese! They have a great selection of different cheeses, and all the workers are very friendly. They have the best cheddar, much better than you can get in a grocery store. Makes a wonderful grilled cheese sandwich. Check out the samples in the store too!

Disappointed...frozen fries, gravy was great though. Overpriced...poutine and 4 chicken strips for $22

Had a standard poutine. Want a fan of the friends, but the gravy and curds were excellent! Would eat there again. Definitely recommend.

The best, freshest, squeaky cheese curds! Which also means the best poutine! Even have a gluten free option for their poutine sauce (no, not just gravy)! Plus many other great cheeses to choose from, I especially like the smoked cheeses.

I’ve stopped here before and discovered beer cheese so when i happened to swing by again, i was really looking forward to picking out a few things. I was the only person in there and looked around for a few minutes then started to pick out about 8-10 items. I bring it to the counter and the woman working there just says to me, “our debit machines are down”. So... you couldn’t have told me that when I walked in? A simple heads up would have sufficed and I find that really frustrating that she just talked on the phone the whole time instead of doing that one small thing. I’ll definitely never go back.

I love this place! All the cheese is made right there in house. If you're a beer connoisseur, definitely try the beer cheese. A nice super salty snack to go with your beer.
